TOPSwitch-HX は、700 V パワー MOSFET、高圧電流源、PWM コントロール回路、発振器、過熱保護回路、回路保護及びその他の制御回路を、ワンチップ上に集積しています。
低システム コスト、高い設計自由度
- 全負荷範囲で最大効率を実現するマルチモード動作
- PI が培った技術に基づく新パッケージ eSIP-7C 及び eSIP-7F により、大電力及び高信頼性を実現
- P、G、あるいは M パッケージ使用で 35W までヒートシンク不要 (230 VAC 入力時は最大 48 W まで)
- ラッチタイプ あるいは AC 高速リセットによる非ラッチタイプに設定可能な出力過電圧保護 (OVP)
- 低入力電圧 (UV) 検出により、ターンオフ時のグリッチを解消
- 過入力電圧 (OV) シャットダウンによりサージ耐量を拡大
- 正確にプログラムできるカレントリミット
- 入力リップルの低減に最適化されたライン フィードフォワード
- 132 kHz の発振周波数 (254Y ～ 258Y、及びすべての E パッケージ) により、トランス及び電源サイズを小型化 (ビデオ用途向けには66 kHz 動作のオプション)
- 高精度 I2f パラメータ公差によりシステム コストを低減
- 周波数ジッタリングにより、EMI フィルタ コストを削減
